As part of your content marketing strategy, you should be posting real-time news from your industry. Using Google Alerts is a great way to stay on top of industry news by setting up email alerts based on keywords.

2. Find out what is being said about you or your company

To successfully run a business, you must be aware of what is being said about you or your business online. To monitor this, set up your Google Alert to tell you who is talking about you.

3. Keep an eye on your competitors

As important as it is to know what is being said about YOUR business online, you also need to be aware of what people are saying about your competition.
